Kirk Douglas didn’t do many straightforward rom-coms, which is a pity because he’s head-and-shoulders the best thing in this contrived ’60s effort. There are flickers of fun as he tries to set up three rich heiresses with husbands, but only flickers. It’s too dated and clunky for anything more.
