Needs a Sequel
 

While trying not to tread on the toes of Jays fine thread, what films would you like to see continued, or what films do you feel deserve to be continued, or what films perhaps deserved a better sequel? Have a think, and share. :D

Good thread Dude, ya got me thinking now.

I guess need is a strong word but I would certainly like the following sequel, very much if it was the same cast and director.

Can we please have a GOOD sequel to the brilliant PITCH BLACK not something like Ridicules Of Chronic or whatever it was called.
VIn Diesel at his best to star in it and a similar sci-fi horror plot.

Good shout, Riddick was a great, if cardboard cut-out, bad/good guy, and the film had some great ideas, I think maybe David Twohy's imagination got the better of him with the sequel.

Oh, and better sequels for The Matrix, I dont mind the sequels, but by christ they could of been much better, I've had countless ideas for what they should of done, and none of them involved what we saw on screen.

Unbreakable was seemingly purpose built for a sequel. Somebody else to helm though, being as What'sisname Shamamalan has lost his mojo. Willis and Jackson would be more than welcome back.

A Zack Snyder 'Day of the Dead' follow up to his 'Dawn of the Dead', as long as it had Ving Rhames in it looking gruff and being bad ass.

Also 'Lemony Snickett', all the actors will be long grown now, but it had a really dark and creepy vibe and with some decent humour. Enjoyed it alot for a kids film, but liken so many properties I think it may have been a comnibation nof several books Frankensteined into a decent film. Much like 'Master and Commander'.

Just to piss of The Dude.

How about a sequel to The Big Lebowski ?
Theirs GOT to be more stories attached to the Dude that would make for great viewing. Coen Bros. to direct of course.

Amen to that, although highly doubtful because some tool did remake the original follow up - Day of the Dead - as an absolutely woeful Straight to DVD clag-a-thon with Mina Suvari, and... yes you guessed it, Ving Rhames.

No Snyder, no good.

Oh yeah, the point of the thread.... I would like to see a sequel to Deep Blue Sea, although I fear that I would be alone in this.
