What DVD have you bought this week?

I brought "Chicago" on DVD this afternoon and watched it this evening. It has got to be one of the best (and defo. one of my favourite) musicals made (:

Hi HH94, moved your post to a new thread because the one you posted on was for Blu-ray purchases.

'Eastern Promises'. 'Friday Night Lights' (Based on Ancient One's reccomendation, yes it's top banana!) Both for a total foa fiver.

Also got 'G.I. Jane' for £2 in Asda, it's enjoyable hokum, Demi is gorgeous shaved and Viggo's moustache is a fabulous actor in it's own right.

Ah well i like it :D

Glad you liked Friday Night Lights. Very under rated IMO.

Drag Me To Hell = 50p

Sex & the City - The Movie = £1

Halloween 3: Season Of The Witch = £2

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Remake) = 50p

Amazingly they are all genuine DVDs and are all in mint condition. Gotta' love the bargains at Car Boots ;)

8 Thunderbird DVDs from ebay (£7.50) for Freddie's 3rd birthday - which went down very well with the birthday boy...

South Park box set of Season 11 because I'm a tad behind in my episode watching, although I'm gradually catching up, via online and Sky.
going for a very good price at amazon so I caved in.

Pitch Black : Special edition and 28 Weeks Later both for £1, god bless cash converters being next to my train station, nothing beats bargain hunting in the chav racks.

Pitch Black is a bona fide genre classic and despite some downfalls 28 Weeks later is pretty decent, the opening ten minutes is one of the most visceral and thrilling horror set pieces I've ever seen.

Oh the helicopter bit is awesome.
