Spelling Shame on You!

You're a film magazine and yet you have misspelled Scorsese's name in your latest e-mail bulletin - shame on you!:(

Lizhawkins 13-03-2010 03:10 PM

I spotted that too! Oh well. These things happen. I bet they won't ever spell it wrong again!

And programme. Not spelt the American way, TF.

Monday Prescription Newsletter: Dear TF....WTF?

Dear all,

Just received my daily TF email telling me about stuff i've already read (the 'what did you think of inception' one). However, i am left bemused by the reviews under 'Films to watch on TV' section where, for some unknown and unjust reason, you have given both the awesome Bourne Supremacy and the awesomely shit Crank 3 stars?? WTF??
One is an intelligent, frenetic, action packed piece of genius. The other stars 'The Stath' snorting coke off the floor and doing his Mrs in public whilst passers by all but high five him. a film so bad that after he fell several hundred feet out of a plane they somehow deemed it a good idea to resurrect him for a sequel? We get 2 Crank films and they wont make Anchorman 2??? WFT?????????????

Friday newsletter

It was a nice surprise to see my hero, Peter Cushing appear on the latest newsletter..although being categorised as One of the '50 Greatest Star Wars characters' is a trivilisation of his legend.http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/tr...smiley-004.gif A backhanded compliment really.

Quote:

Peter Cushing wore a pair of women's slippers for all but long shots: a cause of amusement for his co-stars.
good trivia but neglected to add: because the military boots he was supplied with were too small and hurt his feet.

Clicking on any of the links led to such an assault of pop-up ads that I gave up. Has the site always been this addy?

I just realised I didn't get the Monday newsletter this week.:(
