TF Forum Hotlist, I reckon we can do better!

After reading the new issue of TF, I was left feeling a little underwhelmed by the majority of the choices of the hotlist, with there, in my humble opinion a definite leaning towards more recent releases and some obvious future proofing. Andrew Garfield? Seriously?

So here goes, let's do this, open your mind Quaid...

Hottest Scene : Buried (All of it!)

Hottest Tune : Inception/Hans Zimmer

Hottest Film : Inception

Hottest Ticket : Toy Story 3

Hottest Director : Ben Affleck

Firebrand : Joaquin Phoenix

Hottest Property : How To Train Your Dragon (Give Franchise!)

Hottest Look : Kick Ass/Hit Girl

Hottest Actress : Noomi Rapace

Hottest Actor : Aaron Johnston

Hottest Writer : Robert Rodriguez

World On Fire : Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza 'Rec 2' (These guys are great)

Hotlist Icon : Nicolas Cage (Oh no I didn't!)

Yeah so my list is tailored towards my individual taste and I'm unapologetic about it!

Let's go!

Total Film Issue 176 - Green Hornet - TF Hotlist, 2010 Review, Forum mentions

Morris, congrats on the mention in the dialogue page in the newest mag. Shame you were talking about X-Men 3:eek:. Only just got it today and burst out laughing reading it on the bus:D.

Why THANK YOU Jeff. :D I was wondering if anyone would notice or mention it.
A friend who gets TF hailed me the other day, with "Moz - You made the TF this month!!" They were duly impressed. shame there is no DVD prize for being quoted, I guess the fame must suffice.

My other mention last year was talking about Twilight. I swear they do it on purpose.

I know. I had topic of the week on the Monday newsletter a few weeks ago for that movie myths thread that had only had two replies in two weeks or something like that. I think they're trying to sabotage us...

My mention was for GI Joe. Youre right its a fit up.
BTW Ive still not got this months copy (and I subscribe) so havent seen Morris's mention.

Porkchopexpress 06-01-2011 08:02 PM

I was mentioned for my love of little cakes and Jeffrey Tambor in 'Meet Joe Black'

I have no problem with this.

A big internet 'lul gratz' to you Morris!

You should review a Marky Mark film and give it 5/5. That would end up on the letters page next month.
I subscribe too and hadn't got the new copy and been seeing it in shops for a few days now so ended up just buying it. For some reason I got a free copy of Home Cinema Choice delivered since I am a loyal subscriber to TF:confused:. Really would have preferred my TF:(.

That's no good. If that happens again, drop a PM to Liz and let her know. She'll sort you out.

Congrats Morris and others who got mentioned in the mag, past and present.

I've subscribed for a long time and usually the new copy is in my hands at least a couple of days before it hits the high street shelves. This is the only magazine I have ever subscribed to and I've always been
Perfectly satisfied with the delivery service. I guess this was a genuine postal error.
