Rough as a badgers arse. Bloody good night in Edinburgh. Happy new year everyone.

Wow hardly anyone seems to be back at work today, bit of a ghost ship in my office. Might be a bit liberal with my lunch break...

Speaking of holidays - how was your skiing holiday, Zippykins ?

Zippykins1 07-01-2011 01:17 PM

It was jolly good thanks. I got a bit fed up at times (couldn't get myself up without taking off my skis when I fell) but on the whole a fun time. The apres ski and hut tub made up for the pain and bruises!

I did ski into and pull down both a fence and a 'go slow' sign at the bottom of a run; and got trapped under a chair lift, all of which I'll assume were entertaining for spectators.

As we are into the New Year I just wondered if any of you have made any New Years resolutions and have you broken them already???

My resolution to stop going on Facebook went down the pan on my first day at work, it helped to ease the boredom of my day.

It does sound like fun but I'd hate having to unbuckle my skis everytime I fell as I imagine I'd fall a lot, being a total newb. I'd end up propping up the bar or drinking in the hot tub once I'd tired myself out.

Jay, my New Year resolution was to stop ordering ~so much~ stuff off amazon.
Broken already.

Just been looking at Amazon, the Star Wars complete saga on Blu-ray for £69.99. It is being released around the time of my birthday in September, present from the wife is sorted then.
