What's that show?

A thread to help everyone identify TV shows that they cant quite remember the name of. (Mostly because google isn't helping me today)

I may have asked this on the old forum, but if I have then I forgot the answer:o

I remember when I was younger watching a sci fi show on SKY1, probably early to mid 90's. I can only remember one episode. There was a bunch of people in sliver cloaks gathered around to watch one of their women (princess maybe) enter a door-like portal that would transport her somewhere. On the other side of the portal time moved way faster. So for every second in the first world, a month would pass in the portal world. The woman enters the portal and re-appears almost instantly, but is being held hostage by a man.

The only other bits I remember are that the bad guys henchmen/sidekicks had aussie accents, and there was a bit where the bad guy returned to his original world, and the aussie guy commented that he'd only been gone an hour. The bad guy responded that it had been years (50 I think) in the portal.

Any ideas?
Not sure if it was a series that I watched or just an episode of something like stargate.

No idea, but...silver outfits, aussie accents, time travel? Sounds Epic

Maybe Sliders? They did the wibbly wobbly portal thing in that too.

Home and Away in space.

It sounds a bit like an episode of Buffy too where people were being used as slaves in a demon dimension. No Australians in it though I don't think.
