Who would you like to reboot your fave franchises?
 

With all the talk of reboots and stuff and the Hollywood machine pumping out remakes and the likes, normally with half (at best) the talent involved in the first place, who would you like to see reboot your fave franchises?

First up....Batman!

I'd love to see Timur Bekmambetov have a go at the Batman franchise. I loved his work on Night Watch and Wanted, and while The Darkest Hour was a pile of crud, it was a visually impressive pile of crud.

I'd also like to see Wolfgang Peterson have a stab at Jaws, and Peter Weir try his hand at a Jack Ryan movie.

Is it also too much to ask for Uwe Boll to reboot his entire career and venture into flower arranging instead...?

I would get Eric Kripke to reboot Alien v Predator, with help from Joss Whedon.

I would also love a remake of Aliens with Whedon at the helm, he's genius.

Whedon should also make another 'Firefly movie'. Kripke needs to remake the classics Evil Dead & Evil Dead 2.

Remake Aliens you are having a laugh. You do know evil dead 2 is just remake of evil dead don't you ???

Changed my mind. Can Uwe Boll reboot the Resident Evil franchise please? If he can, and kill it off once and for all, I'll be happy.

Anyone else think this is an idea too genius to not have been thought of already?

Rings remake
 

After the remake-prequel of the Thing (which i was pleasantly surprised by) and the bad news that The Evil Dead is being remade. Surely it's time for The Lord of the Rings to get the same treatment?

Time?!?!? Return of the King isn't even 10 years old yet. What ever your opinion of the films as films, the superb job they did on the screenplay alone is a once in a life time thing. Madness.

Remake lord of the rings. Eh no. 3 very films. Why anyone would want to remake them???

I want JJ Abrams to reboot Lost in Space. I love the tv show and I think he can do justice to it.
