Black Panther - casting
 

if you've been following the casting rumors for Marvel's Phase 2 movies, you must know that one of the most talked about is for the role of the BLACK PANTHER (the first black lead super hero character)...

guys like Michael Jai White, Aldis Hodge, Anthony Mackie (he's been cast as Sam Wilson/Falcon in Cap'n America 2) and Djimon Hounsou (the PERFECT guy for the role, if it were made a decade ago)..all have been mentioned...but, i think i've just found JUST the guy for the role.

His name is ROBERT CHRISTOPHER REILY. he's on screen for a cupla short scenes in the beginning of The Bourne Legacy...he's got the look, the physique..and the acting's not bad, though you can't really tell... and i dunno if he can convincingly do an african accent, or anything...

Look, i'm not into the guy or anything, BUT.. i think he ought to be under marvel's serious consideration to play T'Challa, the Wakandan prince, aka Black Panther. he's just got that BADASS type of look, right for a super hero role.

I think you may be right aragorn, he certainly looks the part.

You're on to something looks-wise. Haven't seen enough of him to judge his acting talent though.

Tony Gilroy should call Joss Whedon and recommend the guy soon...just like Whedon (supposedly) did with Chris Hemsworth to Ken Branagh...at least that's what the myth said.
