Fellowship for me. Talking trees? Hmm.
I wind past the talking trees. Hobbits on their own (without the Ring or Smeagol or other interesting char) are boring.
The power of the mighty dotted panties seems to have solved the problem - or maybe it was Liz. ;) Anyway, I was able to vote now (Two Towers).
Hobbit is the only that didn't make me fall asleep so the choice is obvious.
My favourite film of the franchise so far has to be THE TWO TOWERS, if only for the magnificent assault at Helm's Deep which seems to take it's inspiration from the real-life attack on Badajoz during the Peninsular War in 1812.
While I enjoyed all the films, I thought that THE HOBBIT stretched credibility a little too far during some scenes - notably the falling walkway in Goblin Town and the bending tree during the Warg attack - but all in all I think PETER JACKSON has done a great job with them. |
