Pop-ups
 

PLEASE dont put pop up adverts on the forum. Where I work its the quickest way to get a site banned. So far I have lost four sites that I used to view all due to these bloody annoying things. They eat up bandwidth and interfere with all sorts of stuff. Plus they are VERY bloody annoying. They serve no better purpose than static advertising and in fact put you off reading them.
The new forum is bad enough already compared to the old one. If you keep this up I for one will stop using the forum
( that is unless its banned before I choose to stop )

Sorry guys you know i love you but after several months of this im going nuts. I use the site everyday to read film news and the awesome features and I love everything except this : the fucking BT banner ad that comes across the top of the page on EVERY page and glitches when I first scroll down or makes a loud noise. O sweet lord please get rid of it or have a normal ad for BT where the others usually are. rant over sorry xxx:mad:

Fair comment, willow. I'll flag it but usually there's not a lot the online team can do about it... Keep you posted.

Arg. There's three ads that keep jumping out and filling my eyes with stuff. Portal 2, McDonald's and Thor. One of them won't go away when it comes out and it blocks the whole middle of the screen.:(

Firefox adblock is what you need.
I've not seen a shitty ad for months on any site.
Failing that, you network settings should allow you to block pop-ups.

Can you can guys please keep filling up the website with ads that take up more and more of the page and take really long to to load.

I just love it when I'm going through 20 pages on a feature and it takes three times as long as it should because of giant animated movie ads.

Just please add enough so that I'd need an external hard drive just to load your site!

The samsung phone pop up is really getting on my F*cking nerves!!!!

I hate the ones which pop up OVER the Sign In link/box, so you can't attempt to log in to the forum without clicking on a poxy ad. http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/sa...smiley-030.gif

Really the amount of ads gets quite overwhelming at times.
