A little disappointed
Watched it New Years Eve and yesterday and it wasn't a patch on the Dark Knight and was let down by:-

Should never be remade, You could not touch Freidkin's direction. If it was remade with all CGI and a big budget, it could not touch the original. Personally I don't really like the remastered...

Watched the whole series and yes it is a bit schmaltzy, corny, sentimental nonsense but nonetheless entertaining. Watch the whole series as the last 3 or 4 episodes build to a good climax. Nice...

Agreed.This film was utter dogshit. Original was a fairly formulaic 80's success which was ok but you didn't care about anyone in this film or what happened to them. Very poor.
