Watched it New Years Eve and yesterday and it wasn't a patch on the Dark Knight and was let down by:-
1. Bane. Very one dimensional and as terrifying as a very small mouse.
2. All the Cops going...

The Exorcist

Should never be remade, You could not touch Freidkin's direction. If it was remade with all CGI and a big budget, it could not touch the original. Personally I don't really like the remastered...

Black Swan

Very Very Average, Yawn, No oscar in my eyes but then there have been many films that no way on earth should have recognised. Titanic being the prime example.

Let Me In

Wow that was good. I didn't expect that at all. And two kids who could act the socks off most adults. Very good and a horror with class and a story.

Disagree

Watched the whole series and yes it is a bit schmaltzy, corny, sentimental nonsense but nonetheless entertaining. Watch the whole series as the last 3 or 4 episodes build to a good climax. Nice...

Ditto

Agreed. This film was utter dogshit. Original was a fairly formulaic 80's success which was ok but you didn't care about anyone in this film or what happened to them. Very poor.

Battle Los Angeles

Watched this last night and bugger me I was pleasantly suprised. Very good idea on how the invasion occurs and well executed. Reasonable acting, super special effects, believable characters. It was 1...

Top Cinema

Love to come to your cinema as most cinemas don't give a monkeys once you have paid your money. Need to take little boy to the cinema soon and am dreading it. My one is a well behaved 4 year old but...

The Perfect Storm

Watched with an ex in 2000. 4 teenagers in front of us were constantly on the phone. I asked them nicely twice to stop. Then not so nicely a couple of times. Then when the boat flipped, I flipped and...

Boned by Blood

I watched the first 45 minutes of this last night and turned it off. Very poor and I agree done much better in Rise of the Footsoldier. Although that was more about Carlton Leach and his time after...

Stephen King

I thought that IT and The Stand were very entertaining but neither caught the menace of the books. Carrie was good for its time. Shawshank and Misery obviously. Let us not forget that The Body from...

Nearly turned it off halfway through. Like New Years Eve. You really look forward to and it looks amazing. However, it turns out to be dull and annoying and full of dickheads. Truly awful film and is...

Exorcist 3

The corridor scene in Exorcist 3 is a fantastic example of building tension and then delivering a sucker punch like that. Perhaps the current torture porn exponents should learn from this.
