I know what you mean but I didn't think he did too badly, I mean he was built up for it physically and they did everything they could to lose the Pirates of Penzance look but yes, in the end he's still Orlando Bloom and you can't forgive him for that. lol

The Elizabeth films are great spectacles and highly entertaining though the narrative of the second was lacking and Owen was miscast I thought.
Agree that some of these costumes have to be seen to be believed - I went with some friends to the LOTR exhibition in London a few years back and the costumes were jaw-droppingly amazing. The amount of work in them; phenomenal. Galadriel's dress had a zillion little pearls or crystals or whatever they were sewn on them. It was like something out of a dream. There was a huge tank filled to the brim with used hobbit feet The armour was outstanding too.
