I can't remember much about it other than I really enjoyed it and that it was set at the turn of the century and made in the 40's or 50's, the story focused on a family and one of the main character's (the father or maybe grandfather) was obsessed with efficiancy and would demonstrate it by showing people how quickly he bathed (in 30 seconds or something) for example. I can't remember if it was colour or BW.
I know its not much to go on but I would be grateful if anyone has any ideas.
