Default Robin hood

PERHAPS THE FILM IS FOR KIDS RATHER THAN ADULTS
MY SON GALEN (AGE 12) SAW IT AND HE SAYS

Of course, the scenery is mainly woods and villages, but at the end the white cliffs of Dover make an appearance. The plot is different from other movies based on the Robin Hood legend. It’s fair to say that this movie is much more grisly and nitty-gritty than it’s previous counterparts. It burns the image of the Robin Hood in green tights and replaces it with a robin hood where nothing is what it seems. The acting is very good although at some points in the movie Russell Crowe sounds a bit Irish.
VERDICT: a must see action movie that wipes away the glamour of Hollywood and replaces it with the dirt and grime of 13th century England.
