You may have enjoyed it but, with respect, you don't seem the most objective source on Shyamalan. You sound like a huge fan. Of course you're entitled to be a fan of whoever you like, Uwe Boll or McG if you like. Whatever floats your boat. But if you're that big a fan of a director and you found something to enjoy while that is nice for you, the critics
did have it right with Lady in the Water. It was a disjointed, slow-moving mess of a film.
Not recommended for anyone but the most die-hard fan, or someone who fancies Ron Howard's daughter rather desperately.
