Im new to the TF forum and i have to say im impressed that Martyrs is up for disscussion. I loved this movie though struggled to find anyone that had even heard of it, nevermind actually seen it.

I agree that its by far one of the best horrors ive seen in the last few years (and ive seen a lot), second only to let the right one in (if you want to class it as a horror (a whole other disscussion to be had there)).

I believed myself to be desensitised to most 'on-screen voilence' in horror movies until seeing Martyrs. The second half of which was an incredably hard watch.

I was dissopointed to hear that Pascal Laugier has been dropped from the Hellraiser remake. It could have been special.
