I watched "Amer" last night... Everybody says it's brilliant but i found it "too much". Ok, it's an homage to italian horror films of the '70's, no doubt about it. The directors made a visit at the local market looking like an conspiracy. If you like pictures it's brilliant. A bunch of great pictures, that's what it is. Nice colours and scenes and a lot of atmosphere. But that's that. I enjoyed the arty part of the film but that was all... It looked more like an "art exercise" rather than a film.
