Battle LA

First of all I had a go at the manager of my local VUE so I missed the first 5 minutes due to me not being impressed with the film having subtitles for the hard of hearing, I booked this showing online and it didn't say it had subtitles. While I was having a go at him about that I brought up the fact that it was the opening weekend of a big action film and they had it on one of the smaller screens. He told me that Hall Pass was on the biggest screen? Hall Pass FFS.

Anyway if you like the kind of film that has cheesy lines, awful script, bad acting and loads of gunfire and explosions then this is the film for you. Take Independence day, throw in a little Cloverfield and the game Call of Duty and there you have it. I didn't care for any of the characters at all and even the one supposed to be sad scene was like they nicked the end of the Champ. The aliens were nothing new and some of the CGI was terrible.

To think I got to see a film with such awful dialogue and got lumbered with it having subtitles too.
