Comic book characters get 'rebooted' every other week in their original format, how many alternate universes and interpretations of comic book big hitters have their been?
I don't understand why people would be annoyed by more films of the characters they love, everyone will have, what they consider the definitive version, whether in print or on film.
Franchise like Batman is a license to print money, makes perfect sense to reboot!
Think of us poor comic book fans longing for a Nova/Guardians of the Galaxy movie, or at the very least a Rocket Raccoon animated slug fest. Or even a Moore inspired Captain Britain/Excalibur film, Superman and Captain America wrapped up in one blonde adonis British Tony Stark package!
Not to mention the vast 2000AD back catalogue ripe for some adventurous film making, give 'Strontium Dog' film now please.
Be grateful for the reboot!

A horse is never dead in comics, no matter how hard you flog it.
