I'm currently studying A2 film and as part of my coursework I need to investigate how animated films are creating a wider demographic.
Looking back at the likes of Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Antz up to Despicable Me - What is it about the way technology has advanced that means the age group of audiences has changed?
I'm in need of some opinions! As there are many,
many adults who like and watch these types of films... Is it the narrative that we find appealing? How clever the animation is? The actors who star in them? The reality of it all?
Any help would be much appreciated
