Love the classic Universal horrors. For me the best of them were the ones made by James Whale: Frankenstein, Bride Of Frankenstein, The Invisible Man and the often overlooked The Old Dark House.
Whale brought a sense of style and wit to his films, which make them stand out.
The other one which really stands out to me is The Mummy, which creates a sense of genuine unease.
Rear Window certainly doesn't qualify as an example of the Universal Horror Film, if for no other reason than it was made at Paramount.
