As good as Gyllenhaal undoubtedly is, it's Gosling for me too. I've yet to see a flat performance, in fact he's been great in everything I've seen. From the much maligned Fracture and Half Nelson to the more enthusiastically received Drive and most recently The Ides Of March, he's delivered strong varied performances, full of charisma and charm. Even the by the numbers Murder By Numbers hinted at a very bright future. I must get round to checking out Lars And The Real Girl and The Believer at some point too.
