Michael Fassbender-why the fuss
So, he's played Magneto, he's in Prometheus, he's soon to be Noah, his name has been connected to the Robocop remake and he's a fan favourite to succeed Daniel Craig as the next James Bond.
There's not a week goes by when someone doesn't mention his name in connection with whatever new film is in the pipeline at that moment.
Does he deserve the praise though? I've seen him in a few films and he's always just seemed a decent, dependable even predictable actor. He was decent in Xmen-First Class, he was decent in Inglourious Basterds and he was a bit annoying in that film where he gets tortured by the wee guy from This is England and his mates. Shouldn't the next big acting talent be something a bit more than decent? Shouldn't we put our hopes into an actor who is capable of more than just being consistently decent?
Any thoughts?
