I must admit that when I originally found out that this film wasn't following on from the previous but was going to start all over again I was apprehensive in wanting to go and see it. Then I saw the trailer and thought I might as well give it a go.
Glad that I did, I really enjoyed it, its got its flaws but its a damn sight better than the last installment of the originals. Andrew Garfield for me was a perfect Peter Parker, way better than Tobey Maguire. His whole persona was what I imagined Petey to be like when I used to read the comics as a kid. He had that likeability factor right from the start, he can act and made me get a little choked up a couple of times.
The special effects were very good but although I saw this in 3D it didn't really add much to it except for a few little bits towards the end.
I much preferred Emma Stone as the love interest as opposed to Kirsten Dunst. Not only is she much better on the eye but she is a better actress.
Good to see the usual Stan Lee cameo, which was pretty funny.
