Default help!! analyse a sequence and do a shot breakdown

Hi I have a very brutal assignment due this week in which i have to select a sequence from the choices provided and analyze in essay format TWO of the following three formal and stylistic aspects of film: sound, cinematography, editing. In addition to the essay, you will also produce a shot breakdown of the sequence. Shot breakdown is a detailed, shot-by-shot description of what happens in the sequence. You will number each shot and describe camera distance/shot scale/framing as well as any significant camera movement; you will describe noteworthy sound and include all dialogue; you will describe anything significant found in the background in each shot; you will indicate the transitions between shots.

these are the movies to choose from:
For your analysis, you will choose ONE of the following sequences: “Orange Groves” from Chinatown (Polanski, 1974), “Sally’s Death” from Blow Out (De Palma, 1981), “Kathy’s Birthday Party” from The Birds (Hitchcock, 1963), “David in a Nightgown” from Bringing Up Baby (Hawks, 1938).

I have a detailed outline of the assignment but i am so lost ... need help!!
