Default Questions from overseas readers

Has anyone, especially foreign subscribers, noticed delays in delivery of the recent issues of Total Film?

I received issue 154 published on the 31st of March on the 2nd of May but these delays, although not as long as the last issues, have been going for the last 6 issues. Obviously I am still waiting for issue 155.

The delivery of the magazine to foreign subscribers has been assigned to DHL Global Mail who seem not to be capable of delivering the magazine in time. I never had problems with the previous service provider but now I am seriously considering not renewing my subscription if the service is not improved.

I have written several emails to Future but they left me dealing with DHL myself. But the situation is not improving. Shouldn't Future push DHL to improve their service or, better still, change back to the previous provider?

Hi there

I'm sorry that you have been experiencing delays in receiving your issues. This problem has been pinned down to our local courier company, affecting mostly Northern European countries. We have since changed supplier, so hopefully this problem will ease from here on in.

Kind regards,

Stuart,
Subscription manager, Total Film

Hi Stuart,

Thanks for the reply.

I live in Malta so it seems that delays have been affecting the whole of Europe.

Can you please tell me from which issue will the new supplier start delivering the issues?

Thanks and regards.

Adrian

Default Subscription

Hi,
I live in Australia and love the magazine, but the only retailers that stock it never have the current issues... Is there a way for me to subscribe?? I've looked but it appears you can't unless you live in the UK.
Any help?

Default US subscriptions

Yes indeed you can get a relatively inexpensive TF sub in the US. I've been a subscriber through International media News (www.imsnews.com). I also subsribed to SFX and Fortean Times through them!

Exclamation Subscribing from outside the UK?

To whom it may concern

I recently sent two e-mails to totalfilm@futurenet.com, but didn't get a reply. I posted my question on Twitter (@TotalFilm) today and will also post it here on the forum. I hope someone can help me.

I live in The Netherlands and I recently visited London where I bought TotalFilm Magazine. It was the first time I read TotalFilm and I thought it was brilliant! It’s very informative, detailed and up to date. It's what every film addict needs.

So ever since I follow TotalFilm on Twitter and I also receive the newsletter via e-mail.

Now I’d also like to subscribe to the magazine and receive it at home, but apparently you have to live inside the UK. Is there ANY possibility that someone from outside the UK can also receive the magazine via mail?

Kind regards,

Sabrina

Hi Sabrina,

Sorry to hear you've had problems contacting TF. I'll look into who should be receiving those emails.

You can definitely obtain an overseas subscription. I think there's a bad link on the website that just shows "United Kingdom" in the "Select your delivery region" drop down box: https://www.myfavouritemagazines.co.uk/tofp17/ I've reported the error.

If you want to order online:
http://www.myfavouritemagazines.co.u...-subscription/
(NB This page has "Europe" in the drop down box).

Or phone 44 1604 251045

I spoke with someone called Debbie Plummer who confirmed that there is a Xmas Offer for 1 year's subscription to Europe of £50.34. This offer doesn't appear to be available online (which is showing £59.99). She also mentioned a 2 year subscription for £81.22 (normal price £105.30). Debbie said if you have any problems, you can email her directly on debbie.plummer@dsbnet.co.uk

I hope this helps. Let me know how you get on.

Liz
