Issue 171, Sept. Under the Dialogue section, there is a TotalFilm.com/Forum bit. I think it started last month with the Salt issue.

Default Congrats Kiba & Morris

Last time I was on these boards, a few years ago now, things seemed to be fairly rotten for the average Total Film forum-goer. We'd been forced from our nice, comfortable and very orange home and told to live in a new one that was barely built. We'd lost our personal connection to the magazine in the form of Liz, who seemed to get treated as badly as the rest of us and the disconnection between the forum users and the magazine seemed to be underlined when they ditched the forum comments section from the letters page. At that point I couldn't get excited about the forums anymore...

In truth I wasn't that excited about the magazine anymore. The first edition since the change at the top was poor to say the least and I didn't feel the need to buy it any more, which was saying something since I've still got every issue since number 4 providing a home for the earwigs that seem so fond of my garage.

I was coming back from an assignment out in Belgium - The Antwerp E-sports Festival - and decided to pick up a copy for old times sake to pass the time on the Eurostar. It seems a lot has changed and I clocked that both morris and kiba had their comments used in the returned forum section of the letters page. It used to be quite a point of pride and I know that those who were selected used to strut around the forums like e-peacocks (e-cocks?) whenever someone was lucky enough to get used, so congrats to the two old timers are in order.

Things seem to have picked up quite a bit since I ducked out, so well played to you guys for sticking with it.

Hope you're all well - you know who you are - and that jonesy remains a grumpy old drunk.

CASTRO!! Welcome Back mate.

Grate to see you post again. Yes the order of things seems to have returned. I still hate LVEFILM, Jonesy is still a grouchy old sot and Liz is once again looking after all who sail here. As Guyver would say, Good times.
Don't be a stranger now. you've been missed. Ta for the congrats.

Glad to hear that things are back to what they were back in 2006. Been a long time in the making...

I shall indeed try and pop in more regularly. Just finished the busy gaming season that has seen me out at events such as the Electronic Sports World Cup in Disneyland Paris, surrounded by a mixture of Goofy and geeks. Things quieten down between now and Christmas so plenty of time for forum usage.

Do we have any good trolls or general lunatics on the forums these days?
