Next stop - KERPLUNK in IMAX-3D
This is surely a case of taking the name 'Monopoly' and using it for a film about property magnates, or some such. It can't possibly be about the board game - there are 100's of different versions to start with, and the script would have to shoe-horn in all the favourites from community chest/chance cards.
"I think I love you, even though you only came second in a beauty contest. I'm off to jail now, directly to jail, for reasons unknown. Please take my top-hat to remember me by."
It worked for 'Clue' (Cluedo) just, it couldn't work for Monopoly.
