Well if the rumours are true he 'really' is coming back. With Nolan rumoured to be happy to leave the franchise on a high-personally i think he's left himself nowhere to go now, and he's too good a director to rehash what he's done already-the uber cool Arronofsky is waiting in the wings ready to-once again-take the Batman into a new direction.
Michael Keaton is now the right age to return as Batman for the long anticipated adaptation of Frank Miller's classic, can he cut it? I think he can, personally he has been my favorite Bruce Wayne/Batman, and he looks in good shape. With Daniel Day Lewis-the only actor in the world brave, and talented, enough to elevate the Joker beyond even Heath Ledgers excellent effort this could be something special.
Add Brandon Routh reprising his underrated Superman role-to bad the film was a yawn fest!- Angelina Jolie, meow, and a whisper of Clint Eastwood in a small role as either Alfred or a retired Gordon and the hyper talented Winslet this is a project to have fans salivating.
So watch this space, 'cause when i know, you'll know........... :-)
