I am trying to remember the title of a film I watched one quiet sunday afternoon in,I think the summer of 1995, it was on channel 4 and followed by, again I think, seven brides for seven brothers. I can't remember much about it other than I really enjoyed it and that it was set at the turn of the century and made in the 40's or 50's, the story focused on a family and one of the main character's (the father or maybe grandfather) was obsessed with efficiancy and would demonstrate it by showing people how quickly he bathed (in 30 seconds or something) for example. I can't remember if it was colour or BW.

I know its not much to go on but I would be grateful if anyone has any ideas.

Hi all,

I need some help identifying a film a saw a few years ago, I cant for the life of me remember the name, hopefully you might be willing to help me.

So, this was a thriller/horror movie about ghost's, much like "White Noise" it featured a man who's child had died and he had a tape recorder throughout the film, I think he was some sort of paramormal/ghost writer, he was stuck in one room throughout the film, at one point he had his child (or so he thought) in his arms, then she turned to like burnt ashes and fell to bits, allot of hallucinations and so on going on, also there was a pitcure of a ship at sea on the wall, creeking and swaying, then the whole room flooded with water, at the end of the film he played the tape while sitting in a house he had moved into or was moving out of (boxed up stuff around) and the voice of his child could be heard.

Does that ring any bells with anyone? I have racked my brain but cant come up with the name.

Hi guys. I just need help in identifying a movie.

I've never actually seen this film (not to my knowledge anyway).

Apparently it features a scarecrow/straw man insulting (by calling him 'shorty' or similar) a dwarf which leads to the dwarf attacking him.

I've also got a few other clues to go on. It starts with an A and ends with an E. More than 3 words.

Has a girls name in the title (also a 80s pop star).

Features levitation and cheap jewelry.

Has a connection with outer space but isn't a sci fi film.

The film features dance sequences and weaponry that neither stabs or shoots.

Hope you can help. Sorry for the cryptic clues but thats all I have to go on.

Does anyone have the knowledge to help me with a film title?

I watched a film late night on channel 4 about six or seven years ago. It was a Warner Bros distribution, French and was about a boy roughly about 12 who goes on a class trip to some Mountain. The other kids taunt him saying that his dad is an organ smuggler and steals peoples kidneys, the kid has nightmares and one of the teachers takes pity and makes sure he's ok on the trip. At the end the kid finds out that his dad really is an organ thief and goes home to find that he's fled.

Can anyone help based on the info I've just given, I'm really desperate to get hold of it.

i posted this last night on imdb.

i have now been online for about 5 hours trying to remember a film. its now 2:45 am in england and its absolutely killing me. i can only remember 2 scenes.
firstly, i remember a cab is called out to a derelict house at night, the cabbie waits there then radios to check if its the right address. i think strange noises are heard. there is a short pause from the radio operator,then they tell the cab driver to get out of there!! he drives away quickly.
the other scene i remember is a couple get into a cab, they are heavily disguised (she has big glasses and a shawl round her head), they make out like they are having some kind of weird lovers secret meeting but as they get out of the cab we realise they were playing a trick on the cabbie. they get out laughing together
ive now been trawling the internet for so long im not even sure this film exists!!!!!! or even if its 2 different films??!!
please help....
im going insane.

its still killing me. i dont think the film is a night on earth because i seem to remember the scene with the couple is in the daytime.

It was made a few years ago (2003/4?) and featured a rural community who were preparing for the onset of a flood? The film at the time was said to be Lynch-esq in style.
