Default Ghost Town

ghost town was a very funny yet touching film, it portrayed the lack of emotion in the main character Bertram Pincus in an intruigingly emotional way. it is essentially a rom-com which follows from most of gervais's work. The movie has a clever idea that pincus can see ghosts which in the end makes him realise he has to make the most of his life.

The movie is a well shot piece of film with simple camera work and does not try anything unneccessary and does not require any special effects really which means the audience focuses on the story and the characters more and as they are multidimensional characters this makes the film more entertaining for the audience.

The film follows the main character as he at first hopelessly tries to pursue a woman he likes and shows the nice side of of his character and in the end realises taht he needs to make the most out of life and changes as a person. The plot ends in a very humble manner and the inner meaning of the film is a believable idea for quite a unbelievable concept.
