Default What movies would you like to see on Blu-ray?

I have been replacing some of my older DVD's with Blu-rays, I would like to see Star Wars (all 6) and Indiana Jones trilogy with first class transfers.

I would like to see some of the David Lynch catalogue make it to blu-ray. As far as I can tell only The Elephant Man is available and possibly Dune (on US Import). That's nowhere near enough.

I'd like Lost Highway and Mulholland Drive for starters.. with Eraserhead, Blue Velvet and The Straight Story to follow.

The Alien films, specifically

Alien
Aliens
Alien 3 (Director's cut)

don't care about the rest so much.

Really I want every respected title to be available on Blu as soon as humanly possible.
It frustrates the hell out of me walking into the big stores like HMV and there's still rows and rows of DVD.

GET WITH THE TIMES stupid people! If you can nab a Sony Blu-ray player with great reviews for only 100 quid then I don't understand why people are so lame and slow to get onto the new format. /rant

I totally agree with you there, I would love a quality transfer of Robocop.

I agree with you on the Alien films too.

Defo with the Alien Trilogy (there is no fourth film!) and Indy, Star Wars and Robocop. From what I know there isnt a decent BD of The Terminator, just the sequel. I would also love to see Akira, The Dollars Trilogy and Crank (only on import!).

I was chuffed when I heard that LOTR was coming to BD, but then utterly dismayed that its only going to be the cinema cuts at first got to wait an "Unkown" amount of time for the Extended release, for shame New Line!!!

Sergio Leone films. Once Upon A Time In The West to this day looks leaps and bounds better than many other films made recently, I'd love to see just how good they could make it and sound.

Godammit, you beat me to it with the Dollars trilogy. I even considered importing the Region A of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly from the U.S. I am also desperate for Raiders, Singin' in the Rain, and a decent Cagney catalogue.

Hmm I'm not sure the transfer is going to be that fast. I think people like buying a DVD for a couple of quid and watching it once.
But yeah having more titles on offer might speed things along somewhat.

I'd also like the first Jurrasic Park & Armageddon.
