Well, first of all, I am partially blind. Yeah. Hope you feel guilty now.

Of course I can see the ruddy difference between Blu-Ray and DVD, I ain't no spacktard. It's just had zero effect on my views towards cinema. Maybe I haven't watched enough, but it doesn't instil me with new-found passion or whatever. Like I said, I watch many films in the cinema, and the ones that I don't have yet to be released on Blu-Ray (watched Mississippi Burning recently, it was alright).

Plus, I time my cinema visits, so whenever I go I'm either there by myself or seeing films where there will be no loud plebs.

It's definitely a nice thing, but right now, doesn't interest me. Naturally, the pricing is what really puts me off (I spend a ridiculously small amount of money in my day-to-day life).
