Very bloody annoying. I've reported it to the Digital team and they agree. I'm just waiting to hear back as to whether they can be switched off on the Forum. (Used to be able to switch them off on the old Forum). Keep you posted.

Duly noted. I'll add this to my list. Thanks for flagging it up.

I didn't touch them either. Sorry for the problems. I'm hoping it was a one-off glitch. Please let me know if this kind of thing happens again.

They really should make profile access a bit more obvious. Call it oh I dunno PROFILE or somesuch. After all if you know you have no private messages why would you go there ?

I agree. I've already flagged this up in my report. It's another thing that I'm waiting to hear back on. I have proposed a top menu bar, that's visible at all times. If a user is logged in, the tool bar would have the following buttons:

My Profile | FAQ | Members List | Search | Today's Posts | Mark Forums Read | Forum Team | Private Messages

I'll let you know when they are planning to implement the new tool bar.

Hi Zippy,

I just wanted to check a few things with you...

When you visit the forum after a break, I'm assuming you see the "Forum Contains New Posts" icon next to some of the forums.

When you then click into a forum, you then see "New posts" for any threads containing new posts.

If you then read the thread containing the new post(s) and then click back to the list of threads for that forum, does it not display the thread you visited as "No new posts"?

Can you let me know - as this part of it works okay for me.

For me the annoying thing is when I've read all new posts in a particular forum, but then I go to the Forum home and it still shows that particular forum as having new posts. Although it's a bit laborious, if you click back to the Forum home page and then back to the forum page, it seems to fix it. [Just in case that's what you're referring to].

Guys - I just wanted to let you know that all these glitches (and a few more besides) have been included in a lovingly drafted report - but I am yet to hear when they'll be implemented! I'll have to keep you posted but I am on it. Promise.

Default Picture Competition

When I used to buy the magazines, there used to be picture competition in the magazine. Where you had to guess 20 odd hidden films within the picture. Does the magazine still contain that or is it on the website?
