Scrap that idea about Josh Harto being the riddler that was a bad suggestion. I've been writing a bit more and conjuring up ideas, and i came up with Harto's character Reece being killed in the third film.
With him publically going to the television and trying to reveal who batman was, people of gotham will presume he knows who batman is. Now the police need him for questioning about this as they think batman killed harvey dent. When Reece is eventually found he is murdered with a riddle by his side and again the clues are for Gordon for the reasons i said before. |

Seymour Hoffman= great actor, Penguin though doesnt really appeal to me. I think if Nolan is to go ahead and do number 3 he probably will use the riddler and maybe a bad guy we aint seen yet like the black skull. I would like to see Bane but i think it would slip into fantasy instead of keeping the gritty reality Nolan has created.

All the Bat man movies were not up to mark.
May the next one may make it. Well, nothing to do. Just wait and see. ------- Andrew Movie World |

Potential Bat-villains for the 3rd flick: Killer Croc or Bain. Something more visceral and potentially horrific for the next movie providing a nice departure from the entertaining superhero thriller which was 'Dark Knight'.
Anything would be better than 'Batman Begins'. Whilst 'Knight' was a hit, 'Begins' was most definately a miss and I do not agree with the people who constantly find the need to wax lyrical about it. The action scenes were insipid and pedestrian, and the Scarecrow was such a poorly written and conceived character that I actually found him offensive. Matters were not helped by having Katie Holmes doing her best Joey Potter from 'Dawson's Creek' rendition throughout the whole film and the reimagining of Batman's training, whilst necessary, never really sat well with me. I find it impossible to understand how people can just gloss over these faults. Yes the Batmobile was cool, and yes having Micheal Caine play Alfred and Morgan Freeman play Lucius Fox was clever casting but I'm sorry folks, this does not a good film make. |

Well, can he do it, will he do it, or will the finest actor of his generation pass on playing the most iconic villan in pop art history? I hope he takes up the challenge that's tentatively offered-being there is to be at least a 3 year gap until the next instalment the idea of following Heath Ledgers unique turn may not seem so daunting for Dainiel Day Lewis- and i think he'll see it as a challenge. After speaking so highly of Heath at the oscars maybe Daniel feels it would be fitting to breath life back into the Joker some time in the future.Playing the Joker offers an actor the oppotunity to work without fear of an ott performance, freestyling in its purest form. In my opinion no other actor can disappear so completely inside a role like Lewis and i think he can show that the Joker is more than a suit and a smile.I would like to see him play it-if he does-cold a la Doctor Lector in Silence of the Lambs, all stillness and menace.both Nicholson and Ledger have driven the Joker at warp speed, so fast that we dont really see him. Maybe Daniel Day Lewis will allow us to see the Joker for what he really is, and maybe he will play it so well that we will be terrified that he did! Maybe, maybe, maybe. So that's my humble opinion, but i must confess the idea of Lewis in the white face paint gets me all excited, and the doctors say i mustn't get too excited :-)Maybe i should corner Daniel next time i see him and have a little word in his shell like. But if you all can think of a better candidate i'd be interested to hear it.P.S. if you're bored you can perk yourself up, go and have a look at a Daniel/joker teaser on my profile page, haven't you heard of the healing power of laughter........

Well colour me excited
![]() As for villans I would like to see Bain or Black Mask, as cool as it would be to see Killer Croc on screen, I dont think he would fit in the "Nolanverse" to out there. Also dont be surprised if there is a audio/cloaked in shadow in his cell in Arkham cameo from The Joker.
