I've wanted a steelbook version of District 9 for a while. This week I got one, from ebay.

I don't normally succumb to marketing ploys but I couldn't resist it.

If anyone is thinking of buying Saving Private Ryan on Blu-ray, wait a few weeks as they have a sound issue and are sending out a new batch of disks. The sound goes out of sync at chapter 15.

Its a powerful film and surprisingly faithful to the book. Talking of which if you haven'y already then do read the book its a classic.
Mind you all I kept thinking of was Fallout 3.

I might read the book, I haven't played Fallout3.
It is indeed a powerful film and having a young son myself it really hit me hard at the end, I blubbed like a baby, good job I watched it on my own.

Fallout 3 is a great game. A lot of the imagery in the film is very reminiscent of the game.

The picture quality is fantastic.
Bought as new , £13 play.com. It's hard not to want to own this title when it makes Blu-ray look so f**king good.
