Default The X-Men type of film

Actually, it was a film from the X-Men universe. It is called Generation X and even though I love the comicbook, this is one of the worst films, I ever saw. Unfortunately not the good kind of bad film.

It was an x-men style type film, it had an academy teachers and students, I can't remember how long ago it was but I was thinking about it the other day.

One student had the power to absorb, with no physical changes, but his body had the strength of whatever it was he absorbed. Another was female with super strength I think. One teacher had the sonic voice and that's all about I can remember.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I can't remember if it was colour or BW.

I know its not much to go on but I would be grateful if anyone has any ideas.

Sounds like Cheaper By The Dozen 1950, there was a dire remake starring Steve Martin a few years back.

Yep, I would agree with Cheaper By The Dozen. If you get the chance, you should read the book - the films pale a little by comparison.

Is that Dennis Weaver on the right?

Default Name that Film

A friend of mine asked me if I'd seen a film he saw ages ago, but he could not remember the title or anything about it other than the plot, which he believes went like this...

A murder-mystery/thriller/horror where a man in a wheelchair is the sole survivor to a dinner party and is being pursued by the killer.

Apparently the whole movie details this mans struggle for survival, but it features a twist ending that my friend did not want to disclose. I have already spent hours tracking the movie down, but to no luck, and so I reach to other film fans who might have seen the movie.

It is not based on an Agatha Christie novel, but there are apparently similarities.

I remember seeing a film years and years ago and I'd like to know what the title was (even if I seem to remember it being crap). Can anybody enlighten me?

The plot was this: It's the end of the world, for reasons I can't remember. A bunch of people go to the cinema to escape the apocalypse by committing suicide en masse. They take their seats and the poison pills are distributed. It must be really slow-acting poison though, because there is time to show a series of short films in the cinema as the punters die. These short films form the bulk of the actual movie, with the mass-suicide cinemagoers story acting as a filler between them.

Does this ring any bells with anyone? It's been mildly annoying me for years so any pointers would be much appreciated!
Is this possibly "Demons"? That movie took place in a theatre, but the plot was different, the film started coming to life for the viewers. (btw, I love this thread....I wish I had found it when it first began, as I had known several of the ones already identified, like "Session 9" and "1408")

Okay, I have one that's been bugging me for about 20 years: It's a horror film, probably a slasher flick, where the killer says "Vengeance is mine, sayeth the lord!". It's like his catch-phrase, maybe. Sorry to be so general, but a friend told me about this movie years ago, and I always wondered what it was called.

anyone know a french film made maybe in the nineties where a girl and her boyfriend in their early twenties are messing about in a bedroom he lays on his back and his girlfriend tells him to close his eyes so he does, she blows up a condom like a balloon and holds it in her mouth and she plods him in the face with it. He starts to smile and laugh but all of a sudden he attacks her holds her down and rapes her. That is the only scene i vaguely remember anyone know what film this is please

Question What's this 80's robot movie??

**ANSWER FOUND** - Heartbeeps

Hi wondering if anyone can help me, I had a movie on Betamax think it was from the 80's and was about some malfunctioning robots that escape from the manufacturing factory and had feelings like real people, think they sent some big terminator style robots after them as they set foot in the real world?? Thought it was called heartbeat but can't find anything like it on Internet. I'm sure it won't be as good watching it today as it was in the early 90's nor will it be available on DVD- maybe on import?? Please help!!
