Im a big fan of the World Cup, love every second of it, and try to watch as many games as I can too. England will get to the Final this year, but they will lose 3 - 0 to Spain.

I always backed Italy for some reason, and this year my money is (literally) on Spain.

I went to a very posh wedding in the middle of Gloucester yesterday, the village had a pub and the little B&B were I was staying, this was the only place that was showing the game on a small 19" tv. The pub didn't even have a tv. The wedding venue was a castle and there was no way any football was going to be shown as the bride was dead against it. As soon as the speeches were over I was the first one out of the door but some of the bride-grooms friends saw what I was up to and followed me, we all stayed in the pub and watched the game but apparantly it didn't go down well with the bride.......oh well, such is life.

That's shocking, Jay. I hate weddings, but going against the bride's wishes is tantamount to social suicide. Plus, it wouldn't have hurt you to miss one game, especially as it was so fucking boring.

I was hoping that my sweepstake team, New Zealand was going to clean up on the £14 for least number of goals scored, then in the final minute, they bloody well scored. Damned selfish, I say.
