I wouldnt mind a new Pirates film, I enjoyed the first one and despite how guff the sequels were I still like the mythology of the Pirate universe. Lets just hope its not a convoluted mess like the previous sequels.

lol, probably, but being the eternal optimist I will probably go and see it anyway...maybe thats the thing with pirates, maybe it has something to do with the mythology of it all.

apparently full title of film is pirates of the caribbean - on stranger tides. and penelope cruz is the new female lead in this one along side johnny depp. the franchise is so successful disney will not let it go even though the last 2 films were pretty poor.

Didnt you think the second one was too? To me it felt like a waste more than anything, far too many scenes in the film, and Davy Jones could of been a great character and a great baddie...heres hoping that McShane can bring something new to the proceedings.
