Never has so many witnessed so less by so few.
This really is the worst England team I have ever seen. Words cannot express my contempt for most of the players out there today.

They're not as bad as the England team that played between 92 and 94, but they're almost as bad.

The problem is is that they don't get paid for international games. Dock their expenses? Or make them fly economy like the French did? Yeah, that would probably only give them a bigger persecution complex. You just need to cut all the dead wood out of the team and start afresh with some youngsters. Doesn't matter if they don't perform that well at first - slowly build them into a team rather than the over-privileged individuals that turned up against Germany.

The England squad have turned down a sponsorship deal with a well known pet food company. They thought that going on pitch with WINALOT across their shirts was taking the piss.

Not the best final game or tournament, but well done Spain. My faith in you was rewarded with some money.
