I imagine that Jaden's in his 'Fresh Prince' phase right now and that if we give it time, he'll release a couple of fun rap singles before settling down to become a decent movie star.
From what I've seen, Jaden Smith has got a good future in film and any attitude that he may have will disappear with age.

It would be nice to think so, I hope for Will's sake you are right. However the family is into Scientology. Scientology has done a lot of things for Tom Cruise.. it has not made him humble.

Will Smith and Mrs. Will Smith have been accused of 'pimping' his young kids out.
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...ping-kids.html Can it ever possibly be a good thing to force celebrity onto a child at such a young age? Especially when the results are crap like The Karate Kid. |

It's frightening, from what interviews I've read and seen Jada seems to be a matriarchal force of nature, determined for her children to be 'famous and talented' no matter what the cost!. Will always gives the impression it's anything for an easy life, but perhaps his laconic attitude is a mask for deeper and darker motivations, Jada scares me though.
I saw an interview with the Smith 'dynasty' on This Morning around the time of 'Karate Kid' being released, Jaden is one spoiled, arrogant, obnoxious moppet and in my humble opinion is destined for a breakdown of Corey Haim/Drew barrymore proportions. Willow on the other hand seemed rather sweet, here's hoping neither wind up scarred and disaffected in later life, but something's just seem inevitable.

I think the sweetness you see in Willow might evapourate following her upcoming limelight grabbing role in Annie.

He sounds like the typical kid of a Hollywood actor/actress, trading on his parents name.

Apparentely Smith is producing a new movie with the key intention of it starring his daughter (the aforementioned Annie I believe). Though it is nice to see a parent doing the best they can for thier kid, is it wise to create "child stars" of your children? Its not something thats worked out well for others in the past.
