The Sixth Sense is pretty good and Unbreakable is great. He managed to coax a couple of great performances out of Willis, so good on him. Also that Samuel L Jackson performance is great - there's a vulnerability to it that you don't usually associate with him.

Signs was pretty fun until the ridiculous end. The Village didn't really work. The Happening was just ridiculous, and I have no interest in seeing Avatar or Lady in the Water.

The trailer for 'Devil' looks somewhat intriguing though.

Default No way a one hit wonder.

unbreakable is even better than the Sixth sense. Signs and the Village are really good movies, both brillant ideas well executed.Lady in the water isnt as bad as critics would have you believe,I actually enjoyed it.The happening is poor and airbender is ok.I still think Shyamalans best is yet to come and after seen Devil im starting to get excited by his ideas again.Roll on the next Nightchronicles movie Recarnate!

You may have enjoyed it but, with respect, you don't seem the most objective source on Shyamalan. You sound like a huge fan. Of course you're entitled to be a fan of whoever you like, Uwe Boll or McG if you like. Whatever floats your boat. But if you're that big a fan of a director and you found something to enjoy while that is nice for you, the critics did have it right with Lady in the Water. It was a disjointed, slow-moving mess of a film.

Not recommended for anyone but the most die-hard fan, or someone who fancies Ron Howard's daughter rather desperately.

Default I do fancy her!

Ron howards daughter OH YES Total film did give lady 3/5 as did other leading film mags. Im a fan of shyamalan ill admit that. Lady is disjointed but still for an original story it has heart! A good modern day fairytale. In saying that i can see why people dont like it, but I do

Fair enough. I tried to watch it with an open mind, but it wasn't my thing at all.
