Default Tom Hardy playing Harvey Bullock in The Dark Knight Rises?

Here's a rumour hot off the press - Tom Hardy might have been cast as Detective Harvey Bullock in The Dark Knight Rises, just posted the story here;

Any thoughts - sounds like a perfect fit to me. More importantly, what about that title?

Incorporating the title of the previous film into this one is really shrewd. It seems to be saying remember how much you loved the last film? Well come see this one. It's even better!

No way a perfect fit as much as I like Tom in the comic Bullock's a fat, drab, downbeat cop in his 50s think Andy Sippowitz from N.Y.P.D Blue so Dennis Franz would actually be perfect for the role.

Just relieved that Batman has seen his sexual therapist, and can now get a wedgy. Felt for the poor man.

My initial reaction to that title was:
LOL! then... Really?? then LOL. again.

Begins was straightforward. The Dark Knight was simple.
TDK Rises is the marriage of pretentiousness and homoerotic word play. So it's perfect for Batters with his stupid voice.

Glad to hear they aren't planning on shooting it in 3D, as is the trend with everything at the moment.

So innocent. Or maybe we're just extra grimy.
Zippy I agree, enough with the 3D overkill already.

Especially since it's called The Dark Knight Rises.
