The whole blow-up on the Terminator set has just made me think Mr. Bale is sort of a prissy chump, but I have to put in a good word for The Machinist. He gave an extremely convincing performance and led the audience very well through his tormented and paranoid mental struggle. I think he gave the movie an extremely tense edge.

But between The Machinist and American Psycho, I can't say I've really enjoyed a lot of his other performances. Okay, okay, the twelve year old in me might speak up for Newsies. >cough cough< Buy me last pape' sir?

I think the worst performance of all time would have to go to Keanu Reeves in Coppola's Dracula...another victim of American actor with appalling English accent. Every time he spoke I prayed for Gary Oldman to come into the shot and put him out of his misery.

There is no denying it, Keanu Reeves is a shit actor.

Anne Hathaway in Alice in Wonderland. She was so bad I thought she was taking the piss.

It was a god awful movie anyway. Was very surprised by how bad Jonny Depp was too.

I got dragged to the cinema to see this and thought it was shite, then I watched it again the other day on sky just to see if there was anything I liked about it and I just thought it was dire and a complete waste of time, Burton needs to start making decent films again, maybe without his girlfriend and Depp staring in them?

I gave it a watch after we recorded it off Sky and didn't get very far with it before boredom set in. It was very pretty to look at but after a while all that CGI is so..uninvolving. I felt nothing for it. Bring back real sets.

I tried to post basically this same reply this morning but my laptop turned off. It is a really boring film and after having tried to watch it four times so far and not seen the end yet, I've gave up on it. With this and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory I think Tim Burton was trying too hard to make 'Tim Burton films' and this had a really detrimental effect on the end results.
He's back to animation next with his own Frankenweenie (surely he can't muck that up)

Default Indy being murdered

It has to be Cate Blanchett as the least convincing villan of all time in the abomination that was the The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Closely followed by Jeff Goldblum as he is so irritating in whatever film he is in.

Jeff Goldblum always elevates a film for me. I think he's one of the most charismatic actors working.

He is equally irritating in that and infinitely inferior to Vincent Price in the original.
