Garden State is so far up its own arse, you can see Zach Braff's unattractively smug tonsils.

And STFU, please don't try to claim that you have seen just about every single horror film out there; that's complete nonsense, unless you're about 120 years old.

Joney, I dont believe I claimed to have seen 'just about every single horror film out there'. I simply claimed to have seen a lot and was casualy asking if anybody on the forum if they had any choice recommendations. Perhaps a lesser known film that I may not have come into contact with yet that they felt was worth the time of day. I'm sorry that all you have to offer are infantile negativities.

Thanks to those of you that have offered recommendations. Ive never been a keen Argento fan but i'll definetely try and get round to seeing Phenomena as i have heard good things about it. Also, I loved Nightbreed when I was a kid and am incensed that you still cant get it on DVD (Region 2 anyway). If anyone has any truly obscure recommendations i'd be glad to entertain them.

Infantile negativities, eh? Well for a man who claimed he's
" worried that (he) may have bled well dry," it sure comes across as someone who's seen just about every horror film there is to see.

But I'll take 'infantile'. That presumably means I'm young at heart, and young of mind, and still ready to admit that I've yet to watch and learn from a whole range of films I've yet to see.

As for negativities...it's a tough world out there. This is a forum community. We take the piss out of each other, which in turn creates a kind of bonding.

"To express strong disapproval of". You have summed up the percived sentiment of your post in your first definition. Though the word i was going for was condesention, sorry.

It is true that everything is open to interpritation and I apologise if I misinterpreted the intention of your post.

Ed Wood is worth a look. Defiance is watchable although slow in places. True Romance is entertaining, the best Tony Scott film of the 90's with a classic scene between Chris Walken and Dennis Hopper which is worth viewing for that alone imo.
I haven't seen Knowing but have heard from many sources that it's dross. See this pic posted by Guyver.

Apocalypto is brilliant. A great adventure movie.
Lust Caution. Slow but very engaging film, beautifully shot and acted.
Triangle. Not half as clever as it thinks it is. Average.
True romance is excellent.
