Default Review the last foreign film you watched

Dabangg

Dabangg, the new Salman Khan movie, re-defines the traditional angry young man image of the indian actor founded by Amitabh Bachchan in the 70s and 80s. Though Salman's Wanted and Veer had the same theme of muscle-bound larger-than-life Salman taking on the might of International underworld in the first and the British empire in the latter, the portrayal of audaciously corrupt police officer Chulbul "Robin Hood" Pandey in Dabangg, seems more real, more true. Also, in this movie, Salman looks younger and fitter, and somehow hotter.

Though Salman alone rides the movie, Sonakshi's debut as the sassy potmaker loveinterest and Arbaaz as Robin Hood Pandey's lecharous half-brother and veteran Vinod Khanna as his reluctant step-father are awesome. But one performance that really takes the cake is the awesome Mahesh Manjrekar who plays Lajjo's loud, drunken yet lovable father.

This is truly a perfect movie for the rainy day.
