Arnie wants to return as the Terminator?

Predator and Aliens Lego. I think that's meant to be Arn on the left.

I want one of these.

Obviously hung on until his political career was over.

Indeed. You cant be a republican and be going through a divorce.

I've always liked Arnie, hes in several of my fave films of all time (FFOAF). He is a terrible actor, but when has anyone ever said he was goo? Least of all him. I for one welcome his return. I just hope he goes back to roles that suit him, maybe a Predator 3 with an aging Dutch going up against a Predator warlord. They may still look at him like the only person to truly defeat a Predator one on one. Danny Glover was lucky. I dont want him "doing an Indy" and trying to recapture his prime days.

I always said he was goo.

I wish he'd retire and leave us with the memories tbh. Hasn't he got enough money? It's time there was some new young blood in this genre. See The Expendables for what happens when action icons are trundled out way beyond their expiry date.

The Expandables is pants. Bruce Willis was the only one of the ensemble who can still (kind of) convince in an action scene, but he doesn't even get any. Stallone and Rourke look like they're about to have some kind of seizure any time there's any running involved.
I concur that Arnold is goo.

I'm sceptical about what choices he's made so far, 'The Governator' sounds ridiculous, a weird fourth wall breaking ego boost or something?

It seems as if he's trying to jump back into film as if he's never been away, he's very much a dinosaur in terms of being a box office draw I think. He'd be wise to pick a low budget character piece, or a substantial part in an ensemble piece, but we all know that's not his style. it has to be big, bombastic and filled with explosions and one liners.

That being said I saw 'Red Heat' the other day, still awesome, he's very much a product of the 80s/90s, the last performance I enjoyed that almost displayed something akin to range was 'End of Days'.

Every future project being hinted at so far makes me feel a little embarrassed for him, a feeling that started with 'Terminator 3', shame.

I agree in the sense that he should leave the action genre alone, well apart from Predator 3 . But maybe, as Chop has said,in a different role, he would be good as the Kingpin, as long as it was more of an ominous background role in a "serious" adap of which ever comic book Kingpin is in.

I know... Not entirely action packed, although it did have a moment or two. But, if he isn't hilarious in this one?!?!?!?!/
