Agreed, this is basically the same film as the first so nothing comes as a surprise. In both the films however, I do like the photo montages at the end. Rings very true on what looking back at pics after a drunken night is like.

Yeah, it's the same film except in the script they replaced the words tiger with monkey and tooth with tattoo. It's rubbish.

*SPOILERIFIC*

I enjoyed it. It was almost a carbon copy of the first, and that is almost its undoing, if they do another one they really need to change everything about it. I still found it funny, and Ed Helms scream of "what the fuck is going on?" still makes me chuckle as did plenty of other moments. The location is great, Bangkok is the natural step-up from Vegas, and I liked the grimy look of it all.

3/5*

*The 3rd part, as we all know there will be one, has got to change it up. Alan cant be responsible for the night out, Stu cant work it out at the end, Chow cant be in it neither can Tyson, and do they always need to lose someone?

The major problem with it is that it's just too soon. The effects of the original Hangover should have been allowed to wear off before they made a copy n paste sequel. Sure, it was funny in places, but those laughs were simply echoes from the original movie.

I can't believe Total Film gave this four stars - it's so awful! I enjoyed the first one, but not enough that I was willing to accept an inferior copy with a few new bits lazily scribbled over the top.

Not enough laughs, too much Mr Chow and definitely far too much of the main cast walking around being noisy. The fact that I saw it on Saturday and now the only bit I can really remember is the smoking monkey says it all. Easily forgetable garbage.
