I didn't realise that it was starting from the beginning again I thought it was going to carry on from the last one.

I know there's a lot of people who would've preferred a continuation rather than a total reboot. DrConnersrs didn't get the screentime he needed in Raimi's movies. It's good to see that the character is being explored in the new movie. Speaking of which...

That's just in Ultimate Spiderman, an offshoot of the series which is set in a different universe from the regular Spiderman that comic fans have been reading about for years.
As far as I know, regular Peter Parker from the original Spiderman comics is still alive and well.

I couldn't even believe the mess they made of the third one and I'm so happy this remake is coming. It reminds me of the Hulk, Edward Norton stepped up to the mark to fix that mess and now as far as I'm concerned Andrew Garfield will just be a welcome change to Tobey Maguire's 'emo' spidey...
